Sybilia - Diabetes Mellitus Care app for iPhone and iPad

Sybilia is an innovative and simple medical application for management of the diabetic patient. In just a few moments, the application will:

1.Create an insulin therapy regimen for a patient who has never previously had insulin.
2.Analyse the insulin therapy of a patient already in treatment with insulin, and possibly optimise or correct it.
3.Create a clinical profile for the diabetic patient that will allow immediate assessment of the level of cardiovascular risk, kidney function, LDL levels, quality of blood pressure control and body mass index.
4.Define, - according to the clinical profile obtained - an appropriate diet, a suitable regimen of physical exercise and an adequate basal pharmacological therapy (insulin sensitizers, statins, antiplatelet drugs).

This professional application, which is based strictly on findings from the international scientific literature, has the purpose of facilitating patient analysis, summarising clinical profiles, enabling decisional processes and optimising the therapeutic base. Sybilia can be used both for Type 1 diabetes mellitus and for Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The application has an easy-to-follow layout making it immediately useable for any type of user - whether specialised physician or otherwise.
